In May Nate and I decided to build a house at Daybreak (South Jordan). It's a beautiful little community with a lake, new temple being built, and charming homes mirroring styles from the 30s and 40s. They call it a walking community because they have the homes built fairly close together and lots of little parks and green areas scattered here and there encouraging residence to meander through the neighborhood. I'm particularly excited about the community gardens and lake-side activities (sail boats and fishing). Nate and I lucked out and got a lot just through the block from the lake.
Our house has a two-story great room, a HUGE front porch, four bedrooms (including the master suite), 2.5 baths, a three-car garage, dining room and an office for Nate. We've deciced NOT to finish the basement which would add another three bedrooms, kitchen, theater room, living room and another bathroom. We just don't need the space.
Our house is blue with a cream colored trim. Here is a picture of the model home. Just picture it blue and you'll know what ours will look like.
I love this house.
