Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book, by Terry Jones, is so charming. The book is written from a child's perspective. The girl traps fairies inside her diary. It begins innocently with pretty little pictures of girly fairies trapped between the pages and it escalates to scantily clad, semi-nude, monstery fairies. The illustrations will win you over. Trust me.
