CELEBRATING MOMENTS OF GENIUS

Occasionally I celebrate a moment of genius surrounded by hours, days, and months of complete stupidity. Have you ever wondered if you were right or left brain dominant? Because of your creativity you must be right brain dominant; or you just knew you were logical and must be left brain dominant? Now you can test yourself. Click here and determine which direction the dancer is spinning. If you see her spinning clockwise then you are more right brain'd. If you see it spinning counter-clockwise, you're dominant left. If you can switch the direction with concentration and focus...you are gifted and we should meet and talk about philosophy and math equations. I see it mostly spinning right, but I can switch it because I'm brilliant.

Right Brain Functions

We should talk. I swing both ways...I mean, I'm totally ambidancerist. But my dominant spin was clockwise and with a little bit of effort, I could reverse it. Does that mean that I'm living my life wrong? Maybe I should find something right brained for a profession and make science my hobby instead of the opposite.

Maybe we could talk after you talk with my husband. I first saw the dancer spin anti-clockwise, then clockwise, then anti-clockwise (or as we say here in America, "counter-clockwise") again. Fascinating. And I'm working with a brain that has yet to consume its daily dose of caffeine.

Learned a long time ago, while taking analyst training at IRS, that I used both spheres of my brain. The only thing I was ever thankful for was knowing I EVEN HAD A BRAIN. If you look at the dancers foot on the ground, she will turn the other way. Thanks for the reminder of days gone by.

According to this test I am only right brain dominant. Can we still be friends if I'm not a genius like you and the others here? There's no logic in my brain.....it's all heart baby!

I am a bit freaked out right now. I think my brain halves are fighting. At first I thought the left was dominant but the right took over.
I may not always feel like a genius but I guess I am and keeping good company too.

Grandma B has it right. The secret of the switch is looking at the feet. I started out counter clock for the longest time. (but I think the giant finger smear on the computer might have affected my perception...) Pretty crazy though.

Hmm...Interesting. For the past 10 years, I thought that the left half of my brain was taken over by the right and there was not much left (no pun!) of it. with this test they seem to be equal. Maybe that's where I get my mad skill for playing strategic games like Ticket to Ride!
