ROAD TRIP: MUST DO

I used to road trip a lot more when I was in college. Glacier National Park. Santa Fe, NM. California {anywhere}. Vegas. The Tetons. The Shakespeare Festival in Oregon. Zion's National Park. Moab. Music festivals in a Winnebago.
The lists go on and on. I just love loading up on junk food, buying magazines, putting great music on the iPod, and hitting the open road with a trusted confidant who happens to make wonderful conversation.
These images from JCrew have me longing for a road trip. Some place warm with lots of little shops to explore and yummy cafes to eat. What's your favorite road trip? Would you recommend it as a must-do?

I'm thinking that May or June would be a good time for you to take a road trip to Vegas...

I highly recommend San Luis Obispo - cutest little beach town ever, home of the Madonna Inn (and my grandma), and just a hop, jump, and a skip away from Pea Soup Andersen's, Solvang, and Santa Barbara. This is where we road tripped every three-day-weekend during my childhood.

By the way, I'm watching "Step Up" right now and that girl reminds me so much of you, I always feel like I'm watching you dance your heart out when I watch it. (And yes, I've seen it multiple times - I love dance movies.) :)

Lacy, that is the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time. I love that I remind you of a dancer!!

When I lived in Seattle, I packed the car up one week and set of on a solo trip down the Seattle/Oregon coast to Cannon Beach. I stopped wherever I wanted, sang my heart out along with the radio and enjoyed every minute of the trip. I'd love to do it again sometime.

Carlsbad Caverns. It's awesome. From Denver you drive right through Santa Fe and Rosewell, which are both awesome!
