Shopping in a little toy store in Breckenridge, I met these green toys. I love them.

I planted my paperwhite bulbs exactly 2 weeks ago. And voila! Here's a few before and after photos. Nate and I are going to pull on our boots and deliver them to our neighbors tonight.

What about a new journal. This one is a bit feminine, but perhaps you can ask him to fill it up with thoughts and memories of you and then give it back next year for your valentine's day.

What about a luxurious night in, pick up something sinful for dessert {anything chocolate}, rent a movie you've both wanted to see, and give each other a good, long foot massage. This happens to be one of my favorite suggestions, so far.

Weekend getaway? In SLC there are lots of little places to get away that won't break the bank. Snowbird Ski Resort, Park City anywhere, Midway. You could try the old trick where you pack their bag, pick them up at work, and drive!

Gear anyone? I call them gear-heads. To some this might conjure up images of a guy covered in engine grease up to his elbows. To me, it's any man or woman who wanders around REI like it's a candy store.

SKI LOVERS GET-AWAY

If you call yourself a skier, you may want to consider this affordable ski getaway. SURVIVING A CUBICAL FARM

I came from an office and now I'm in a cube farm at my current job. To relieve some of my cubical blues and remind my fellow cubies that I can hear them talking on the phone, I like to use my baby-launcher catapult gun as a not-so-subtle hint. NINTENDO Wii

I got Nate a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. Besides being impossible to come by at the store, this game system is pretty fun. I played the sports pack with Nate and beat him at boxing and bowling. Nevermind that I woke up the next day with a really stiff shoulder muscle.

AIR DRUMMERS UNITE!

Nate is always teasing me because I air drum. I can't think of a better gift for me then drumsticks that actually plug into my iPod - allowing me to play along with my favorite tunes! Get them here for $30 and buy me a set please.

I don't go anywhere without a notebook in my handbag. This gives me the perfect {and consistent} place to jot down things to remember; the title of a book I want to read, a good song or restaurant.
