BAD DAY AT WORK

{photo from forever21.com}
I have a tendency to daydream. When I'm having a bad day at work, which is happening more and more often these days, I sometimes find myself staring at the gray cubical wall while I imagine what life would be like if I tossed off responsibility and became a full-time writer or something else really artistic and creative. If I did this I'd have to move somewhere inspiring; somewhere with lots of people watching and beauty and romance and the ocean.
In this daydream I'm about 20 pounds thinner and I have a tendency to walk the shoreline in deep contemplation and look like this...while the latest novel I'm working on is brewing to perfection in my pretty little head.

You could do it! I did. I just don't make any money anymore. :)

But don't lose 20 lbs, please. I don't think we'd be able to see you.

I hav always thought the most peaceful profession in the world would have ot be a florist. I'm sure they have bad days, too, but atleast they are surrounded by sweet smelling flowers.

Being a florist IS the best profession. The only thing that ever made it stressful, when I was doing it full time, was money..oh and weddings..but that is a fun stress I get a high on that:)

I knew it! Why didn't I become a florist. Could it be that I might lack the talent?
