Amie introduced me to the musical comedy act comprised of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement who, in their own words used to be "New Zealand's 4th most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo". They are currently working on a 12-part series for HBO entitled, Flight of the Conchords, which depicts them trying to make it big in NYC.
You MUST watch their performances on youtube because they are just the right amount of strange, dry witted humor that will make you laugh until you cry.

Finally a blogging friend recognises the pure genius that is Flight of the Conchords! You know I posted about this a couple of weeks ago expecting to get a lot of comments back. But not a one! I was confused as I think they are so funny. But now I can sleep well tonight knowing that someone else loves them like I do. Thanks for spreading the word. I want FOTC to take over the world :)
