I did a quick marketing survey to see how most of you would like to learn about a new product. As it turns out, the two most popular vehicles were {big surprise}, blogs and word-of-mouth. Three equally unpopular ways of being ads, email, and infomercials.

Marketing is like the world's most loved and most hated daily interference. I think a lot of why people love blogs is because to some extent it's permission-based marketing. No one wants their lives interrupted or intruded upon. So the question is... who is our target audience reading and how do we get those authors to write about us? PR vs. Advertising... there are no clear lines anymore.
