I HEART NEW ENGLAND

I'll be in Boston in October to attend The New Marketing Summit. Whilst the rest of the executive team goes to China to attend the Canton Fair, I'll probably extend my stay there and walk around the brick streets of Boston, kicking leaves and ducking into boutiques I can't afford. Is there some place I MUST visit while I'm there? Lucky for me Domino's own Rita Konig featured Boston in the latest issue; all is not lost!

Just hit Newbury street and you will be fine....I LOVE BOSTON! Take the Duck Tour! Did you know that Boston is 70 percent landfill? If you can take a car drive down to Provincetown. If I was a writer that is where I would live.

Do NOT miss out on Mike's, a bakery/pastry shop in the Italian district on the North End. (A block or two over from the Paul Revere House.) While the Duck Tours are fun, you do miss some stuff that you will only encounter on foot.

I've always wanted to go to Boston... my sister-in-law tells me to stay away from Salem! She said it is NOT worth it! Have fun!

You will be very welcome in Beantown! I definitely recommend Newbury street, Beacon Hill, and the Public Garden. They are all near each other downtown. Ditto what greeneyes said about the pastries at Mike's. If it is a nice day, Quincy Market in the North End near Mike's is a great place to walk around. If you like history, you can also do the Freedom Trail. Have fun, it's an awesome and beautiful city!
