This year I'm going to hit it hard on the slopes. Other years have brought poor performance due to my lack of exercising and conditioning along with old ill-fitting gear. The skis I've been using for the last four years are a pair of rentals I purchased at the end of the season. I also decided to pick up snowboard gear since I'm going to become a hybrid this winter.
Now, if I decide to get the
Obermeyer jacket and a new pair of pants I'll be totally set for this season and many more to come. This is what Nate and I picked out for me this year.
Skis: Head Wild One, LD 12 bindings
Snowboard package: Tiara I snowboard, Tika audio helmet, Jinx Boa boots, and PX Fay bindings

How does Nate feel about you becoming a snowboarder? I was under the impression that he was strictly a ski man.
Nate's okay with me crossing over. He has a board, too. As long as I don't plan to snowboard on the bluebird days when he wants to do some extreme skiing.
On crappy cold days he won't care.
