MORE THAN JUST A WASH BASIN

I'd love to have a clawfoot tub. Any will do, really. In my new home (scheduled to be done the end of December), I didn't have the option for a clawfoot since it's now 100% custom. In my custom home (if I have one) I will certainly have an extra long clawfoot sitting on a black and white hexogonal patterned tile floor (my friend Julie has such a bathroom).

Seeing Anette Benning soaking in the tub for the "Running with Scissors" ad reminded me of how much I love these tubs. Here are a few others that I think look quaint and fresh while maintining that "this tub has existed since the dawn of time" affect.

Cute pedastal tub. Very minimalistic and clean.

Minus the mauve wall and japanese fan, this double slipper tub is totally cute.

This is another pedastal tub. It has a different shape then the other one. Not sure which I like better.

This is your standard slipper tub. I like the faucet being at one end and the high back for comfortable soaking and easy foot to faucet ratio.

Cute antique baby tub. So precious. Clemantine would look so cute sitting in this with bubbles and a yellow rubber duck.

These tubs require Coltrane, luxury bubbles, perfectly painted toes and nothing but candles. Well, maybe the smell of lavendar. That might top it off and make it a perfect tub. Thanks Moggy.
