SUNDANCE #1: AWAY FROM HER
Nate and I saw Away From Her lastnight at the Peery Theater in Ogden as part of our tour de Sundance Film Festival. It's an adaptation of the short story The Bear Came Over the Mountain by Alice Munro. This film proved to be a sweet, sentimental love story that will absolutely break your heart. It shows a loving older couple dealing with alzheimers {hers}. Julie Christie is breathtaking, still, with her long hair and the kind of grace that you either have or you don't. And her husband will absolutely win you over. Makes you wonder if a man could love a woman more then what is expressed in this movie. It will be released on a grander scale in May.
